On October 23, 2024, a significant meeting took place involving Saigon Technology University (STU), AMV Consulting Inc. (AMVC), and the Maple Science Technology Development and Business Center (Maple STC). The primary focus of this gathering was to explore potential collaborations in two pivotal areas. The first area of interest is the establishment of an articulation and franchising program with AMVC’s partner international universities. The second area aims to foster startup incubation for STU students, supported by various technical training initiatives provided by Maple STC.
The meeting was graced by the presence of several distinguished attendees, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Kim Anh, the Vice Rector of STU, Dr. Nguyen Tung Lam, the Director of the ITPC International Training Center, and Dr. Dang Van Thuong, who heads the Scientific and Graduate Department. Additionally, Mr. Mark Christian O. Valdez represented both AMVC and Maple STC, contributing valuable insights into the discussions. Their collective expertise and vision set a promising tone for the potential collaborations being considered.
As the discussions progressed, it became clear that both parties are eager to embark on these projects, with an anticipated launch by 2025. The three organizations are looking forward to establishing a long-term partnership that will not only enhance the educational landscape at STU but also provide significant benefits to its students. This collaboration is expected to create a robust framework for academic and entrepreneurial growth, ultimately enriching the student experience and fostering innovation within the university community.
